Fish House

Bear Claw Wilderness Camp boasts a very well maintained fish house that was remodeled in 2021. It is cleaned and sanitized every morning, stocked with hand towels, hand soap, and clean fish rags, cutting boards and knives, minnow buckets, mini fridge, and deep freezer with bins specific for each cabin.

Amenities

Public Washrooms

Our public washrooms are fully equipped with a shower, sink, toilet, toilet paper, hand soap, hand towel, and storage shelf. They are cleaned and sanitized every day for our guests to use. Guests without a bathroom or only a half bath in their cabins are free to leave any commonly used bathroom | shower items in the shower or on the storage shelf. Theft is certainly not a common occurrence on our camp, however, not impossible so we ask that guest please be responsible for their personal items.

Laundry

Our laundry facility is for staff use ONLY but it is available for emergencies. If a guest needs the laundry facilities or any additional supplies for their cabin, the owner or any staff member will be happy to assist.

WiFi

Bear Claw Wilderness Camp does offer our guests access to the camp WiFi. Some cabins will work better than other so if you rely on internet access please consider alternative sources. Please inquire with the owner about WiFi information.

Town Runs

Bear Claw Wilderness Camp owner/staff will make a town run once a week for camp supplies and guest supplies if needed. We do advise guests to go through our check list of what to bring to avoid supply shortages.

Garbage Collection

Bear Claw Wilderness Camp provides a daily deck tidy and garbage collection service with replacement of bags if garbage can is full. Please be weary of the amount of garbage being placed in the bins at a single time.

Welcome Gift

Every week for new arrivals, each guest will receive a homemade baked good, with a personalized note attached, as a welcoming gesture to say thank you for choosing Bear Claw Wilderness Camp.
